Psar Nat is also written Phsar Nath or Psar Nath. Its 1930s Art Deco market building is a recognisable landmark in the central streets. It is not the same market as Boeng Chhuk.
A useful short visit
Combine the exterior and surrounding shops with a slow walk through the nearby streets. Trading patterns vary by stall and time of day, so this guide does not promise universal opening hours. Ask permission before photographing a person or a working stall.
Food and shopping
Look at displayed prices and ask the total before ordering. Check whether a price is in dollars or riel and how change will be returned. Keep purchases manageable if you will continue on foot; the market is a working place rather than a staged attraction.
Connect it with the Sangker
Use the river as a second orientation point for your walk. Check traffic at crossings and avoid assuming every riverside section has a continuous unobstructed pavement. Return to a known bridge if staying on the opposite bank.
Stay nearby
For accommodation, compare the exact address and room conditions rather than relying on “central” in a title. The centre guide and directory identify named starting points, with separate questions for budget rooms and riverside hotels.
