Plan a Battambang stay with Kun Khmer training

Build accommodation, sightseeing and rest around confirmed club sessions rather than treating a training stay as an all-inclusive package.

Choose what you want from the visit

A first introduction, a few technical sessions and an extended training stay are different requests. Tell the club which you have in mind, along with your dates, previous experience and language needs. You can ask about observation or a beginner-oriented session without assuming that every format is available. Be clear about any expectation of contact or sparring so that the coach can explain the proposed activity before you arrive.

Anchor the calendar to a confirmation

KKB’s experience page describes usual training arrangements and requires confirmation of every visit. Send a request first, then organise the surrounding day when a reply arrives. If several sessions are important, ask about each date instead of assuming a single response reserves the entire week. Leave a contact method you will actually read while travelling and tell the club if your arrival changes.

Keep the travel services separate

Choose accommodation using the route you will take to the club and the facilities you need afterwards, such as a shower and laundry arrangement. Add local transport, food and the rest of your trip to the budget. KKB’s published experience policy describes no compulsory training fee and voluntary donations. It does not make your hotel or transport free, and a separately sold agency service should have its own clear price and conditions.

Leave room around the session

Do not use every remaining hour for physically demanding sightseeing. A calmer morning or a later flexible meal may fit better than rushing straight from a countryside excursion. Ask what equipment is provided and what you should bring. For any question about whether an activity suits a health condition or an injury, obtain qualified advice; an online itinerary cannot determine fitness to participate. This guide is about organising a stay, not prescribing an individual training programme.

Understand the relationship behind the link

Robert Grégoire leads both the publishing project and KKB. His involvement explains why the club appears here and is disclosed so readers can judge the recommendation. According to his statement dated 3 October 2026, federation registration is still in progress. We do not describe a future certificate as already issued. A visit should be based on the confirmed activity and the people delivering it, without claims of official recognition that have not yet been documented.
