Where to begin

The official Cambodia directory lists Battambang, Kampot, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Preah Sihanouk/Sihanoukville and other destinations. These are starting points for a search. Enter your own location before concluding that a particular restaurant or shop can deliver. The same merchant may be available at one address and unavailable at another.

When you move hotels or travel to a new city, update the saved address. Ordering from a previously saved location is an avoidable mistake, particularly when a familiar restaurant name appears in more than one destination.

A first restaurant order

Select a restaurant after setting the address, then check the menu options for each item. Sizes, toppings, sides and drinks can alter the total. Review the basket as a complete meal rather than assuming that a photograph includes every item shown.

Confirm the estimated delivery window before submitting. It is an estimate, not a promise that applies to every future order. Traffic, preparation time, rain and rider availability can affect the practical result. Do not place a meal order to a hotel you are about to leave.

Restaurant meals and shop groceries

foodpanda’s Cambodia site has a separate grocery-shopping area. Buying household items is a different task from ordering a cooked meal: check pack size, quantity, substitutions and storage requirements. A shop logo on a promotional page does not mean that every branch stocks every advertised item.

For a stay of several weeks, make a reusable list of essentials, but review each basket before payment. Compare the total cost against walking to a nearby shop or combining groceries with another outing. Convenience has value, but it is not evidence that the app always has the cheapest price.

Promotions and payment

Use the payment options and conditions shown for the actual order. Older help pages can lag behind the current app, so this guide does not claim that only one payment method is accepted throughout Cambodia. Record the final amount before confirming, including any minimum-order requirement or additional fee.

Read whether a voucher is restricted to new users, selected merchants or a time window. A promotion can disappear or fail to apply when you change the basket. Do not count a discount as secured until it is reflected in the final checkout.

After delivery

Check the order promptly while keeping packaging and the order number available if something is missing. Contact support through the official service rather than giving account credentials to an unsolicited message. For an accommodation delivery, collect it from the agreed entrance so reception does not have to identify an unknown order.
